Ford Ranger Windshield Banner

1. Select your windshield banner size. A windshield banner is sized by the area (width x height) it occupy. The windshield banner to the right measure 40" wide x 5" tall. The selected windshield banner size should be smaller than the width of your vehicle windshield.

3. Select a cut style. Normal cut is the most popular choice. Mirror image cut is made by flipping the image over, producing a "mirror image". It is used in such instance as to let the drivers in front see your windshield banner normally through their rear view mirror or when installing the windshield banner on the inside of your car's window.

Note: If you are applying windshield banner on the inside of your car window using the mirror image cut, ONLY the Standard & Wall vinyl have colors (nearly the same) on the face side and on the adhesive side. All other vinyl materials only has color/design on the face side.

4. Select a windshield banner type: Normal or Curve.

Normal windshield banner is the most commonly used. The vinyl windshield banner will conform to the windshield curvature thereby creating an arch look in the banner.

Curved windshield banner is popular among race car enthusiasts. It is made to match the curvature of the windshield. You will need to measure your vehicle windshield width and curvature and enter them in the optional text box above. Notice how the windshield banner curves along the windshield curvature in the picture to the right.

The windshield width is measured by placing a measuring tape across the top corners of the windshield (blue line in drawing to the right below).

To measure the curvature*, place your measuring tape across the top corners of the windshield. Find the midpoint on the measuring tape and measure the distance from the midpoint down to the edge of the glass (red arrow drawing to the right below). The drawing to the right below shows a 50" wide windshield with a 2" curvature. The measured curvature will increase the overall banner height by that measured amount.

*The curvature measurement method shown is a "pretty good" estimate.

Optional: Enhanced your windshield banner look by adding a visor. A visor serves as a color background for your windshield banner, reduced heat absorption, sun glare, and greatly improved the appearance of your car. You can add a visor to your order by selecting a visor color in the option above.

Installing a visor requires a bit more work. You will recieve a cut vinyl sheet that is more than enough to cover the top of the windshield. The installed visor should be at least 0.5" taller (or more if you want) than your windshield banner to ensure enough space for placement of the windshield banner on top. If you order a curved windshield banner, the visor will also be curved. You must measure your windshield width and enter it in the windshield width text box option above.
